Moved into motion by new emotions
Maybe it's the nice weather outside
Maybe I'm tired and in need of adventure
Maybe I've been mentally retired
For far too many years
Need to untie my wires
Rearrange the circuitry
And stop sitting in that dusty old theatre
Glued to my seat
As it replays old memories
There are days to conquer
And moments laying in wait
Life is a game of numbers
The more chances you get
Equal the more chances you take
Too much to comprehend
Always
Too much to understand
Most of the time
Just need to see it through
And enjoy the ride
Looking out so many windows
Living alongside fragments
Of the outside world
We see so little
Understand even less
Yet the whole world
Sits at our fingertips
Reality can seem
An impossible quest
A new day is always tomorrow
And today will become our past
Minutes cascade like an avalanche
But hours seem to drag
Nothing makes much sense
But beauty lies in the small details
And the truths they entail
Finding peace unleashed
With casual conversation
A warm coffee
And a cool breeze
